תחומי היישום והשימושים העיקריים של FRP
FRP is a kind of composite material, which has developed rapidly in the past 50 years. 70 percent of the output of glass fiber is used to make FRP. FRP has high hardness and is much lighter than steel. It is used as fuel tank and pipe of jet aircraft to reduce the weight of aircraft. When astronauts are on the moon, the small oxygen cylinders on their backs are also made of FRP. FRP is easy to process, rust free, and does not need paint. China has widely used FRP to make all kinds of small motorboats, lifeboats, yachts and automobile manufacturing, thus saving a lot of steel. As FRP is a kind of composite material, its performance has a wide range of adaptability, so its market development prospect is very broad. According to relevant statistics, there are about 40000 kinds of FRP products developed all over the world. Although all countries have their own development direction according to their own economic development, they have basically involved all industrial sectors. After more than 40 years of development, China's FRP industry has also been successfully applied to various fields of the national economy and has played an important role in economic construction. The main application fields and uses of FRP are:

3. תעשיית הרכב ורכבת: מעטפת רכב וחלקים אחרים, כל מכונית מיני מפלסטיק, מעטפת גוף, דלת, לוח פנימי, עמודה ראשית, רצפה, קורה תחתונה, פגוש, לוח מכשירים של אוטובוס גדול, קרון נוסעים וקרונות משא, מונית וכיסוי מכונה של משאית כיבוי אש, משאית מקרר וטרקטור וכו'.
4. הסעות רכבת: ישנן מסגרות חלונות לרכבת, עיקולי גג, מיכלי גג, רצפות שירותים, דלתות רכבי מזוודות, מאווררי גג, דלתות קירור, מיכלי אחסון מים וכמה מתקני תקשורת לרכבת.
5. סלילת כבישים מהירים: יש תמרורים, רציפי בידוד, ערימות שלטים, לוחות שלטים, מעקות בטיחות לכבישים מהירים, ספינות, תחבורה מים ותעשיות אחרות.
6. ספינות נוסעים ומשא: סירות דיג, רחפות, סוגים שונים של יאכטות, סירות משוטים, ספינות- במהירות גבוהה, סירות הצלה, ספינות תובלה, מצופי FRP ומצופים אוניות.
7. הנדסת חשמל ותקשורת: ציוד כיבוי אש, צינור מיגון כבל, סליל סטטור גנרטור וטבעת תמיכה ומעטפת חרוטית, צינור בידוד, מוט בידוד, טבעת מיגון מנוע, מבודד מתח גבוה, מעטפת קבלים סטנדרטית, שרוול קירור מנוע, שמשת גנרטור ו ציוד חשמלי חזק אחר; תיבת חלוקה ומרכזיה, פיר מבודד, כיסוי FRP וציוד חשמלי אחר; מעגלים מודפסים, אנטנות, ראדומים ויישומי הנדסה אלקטרונית אחרים.
